Welcome to North Coast Salon Systems. We've been distributing professional salon products from our Cleveland, Ohio warehouse since 1972. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

Who can buy from us

Our site is built for licensed cosmetologists, barbers, and beauty professionals — but anyone can shop. Pro pricing and certain professional-only products are reserved for verified license holders.

Pro account verification

To activate a pro account, submit your cosmetology or barber license number, the issuing state, and your salon or business name through the pro account application. We verify license information against the relevant state board records. Most applications are reviewed within one business day. You'll receive an email once your account is approved.

If your license expires, lapses, or is revoked, your pro pricing and access to professional-only products may be paused until verification is restored.

Account creation

You can create an account to save addresses, view order history, and check out faster. You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

Order acceptance and pricing

Placing an order means you offer to buy the listed items at the listed prices. We confirm orders by email. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order if:

  • An item is mispriced or out of stock
  • We can't verify professional eligibility for a pro-only product
  • We suspect fraud or violation of these Terms

If we cancel a paid order, we refund you in full to the original payment method.

Prices are listed in US dollars. We may change prices, run promotions, or end promotions at any time without notice. Prices and stock at the time of checkout govern your order.

Payment

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout (currently Shopify Payments, major credit cards, and PayPal). Payment is due at checkout. Sales tax is calculated based on your shipping address and applicable Ohio and destination-state law.

Brands and trademarks

We carry products from Mantra, Soma, Keratherapy, Nook, Tutto, Puring, Get Pure, and other manufacturers. All brand names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Our site, layout, original copy, and original photography belong to North Coast Salon Systems. You may not copy or reuse our content for resale or commercial purposes without written permission.

Acceptable use

When using the site, please don't:

  • Use our content or pricing for resale to other distributors
  • Share your pro account login with non-licensed users to access pro pricing
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to harvest data or place orders
  • Try to break the site's security or access other users' accounts

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Limitation of liability

We do our best to describe products accurately, but professional products are tools — outcomes depend on technique, hair condition, color history, and other factors outside our control. We are not liable for results of products used in a salon or by an end consumer. To the fullest extent allowed by law, our maximum liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

No warranty beyond manufacturer

Products are sold with the warranty offered by the manufacturer, if any. We do not provide additional warranties. We will help you connect with the manufacturer for warranty claims when needed.

Disputes and governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the site will be brought exclusively in a state or federal court located in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Both parties consent to that venue.

Severability

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable by a court, the rest remains in full force and effect.

Changes

We may update these Terms. The current version always lives at this URL. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice on the site.
